This is a demo we wrote a bit ago. It will probably end up rewritten & come up somewhere but I feel like I need to get it out now.
I’m kind of terrible at writing love songs but this one came easy.

we have never had any industry support. never a manager, an agent, a publicist, a distributor or a label. everything our band has ever accomplished has been at your hand. you are the only credential forourhero has. the only judge or juror.
you will hear bands boast that their record has “a song for everyone”, and i will be the first to admit that strange days does not. what it does have though, is 14 songs for you.

desperate times call for separate measures.
madness is the catalyst to greatness. not so much that your ambition is out to prove something, but not so little that people consider it orchestrated. moderated absence from yourself is what’ll do the trick. because when the slip knot doesn’t pull through you’ll leave a legacy.
